After crossing five years of economic crisis, the software, sealants and joinery accessories segments are relatively difficult to assess, as they have entered on different trends and the relatively small number of specialized companies (with relevant sales) shapes them rather in a form of oligopoly, especially since only a few companies can have a collective dominant position. Moreover, even during the maximum intensity of the activity, a comprehensive assessment of the evolution of the sales recorded at national level by the specialized suppliers was difficult to perform. However, we might take into consideration that, before the recession, each of these specialized segments evolved in a similar way with the windows market as a whole (+30% per year), at least until 2008, after which obvious fluctuations emerged. The first sign of stabilization was observed in 2011 and in 2012 the firms in the windows branch were more strongly export oriented, which boosted somewhat also the sales of the companies in the areas examined. In the case of the software sector, everything depends on the size of the investment budget allocated for this purpose by the joinery manufacturers and / or suppliers of systems especially because the operational program co-financed from EU funds, which allowed the purchase and installation of specific applications, was not implemented in the right parameters and it remains to be seen whether this financial instrument made in order to stimulate the economic activity will be validated in the next financial year with multiannual allocations (2014-2020). The awareness of the specific end-user as well as the on the manufacturers of windows remains important for the accessories and fasteners segment. They should realize the importance of using quality products for ensuring a suitable fitting or for supplementing whole joinery assemblies. In what concerns the sealing materials, the "flexibility" of the market, conferred, in fact, by the diverse range of specific applications, determined the specialized operators to quickly focus to other categories of beneficiaries with a lower degree of risk regarding payment incidents.
