The current macroeconomic indicators continue to reflect the uncertainty of the local business environment just as in the same period from 2012, but with significantly less explicit effects. The data are completely unfavorable for companies operating on the thermal insulating joinery market and related domains. Even if they come to be regarded as implicit, the harmful effects caused by the political and social instability, coupled with the lack of state funds and the volume decrease of foreign investments determine an accentuation of the downturn of the national construction domain and, obviously, of most of its segments. In the absence of a real support from government decision makers, it seems that the managers of companies from the industry have at their disposal solely the export solution in order to stabilize the sales. However, a substantial recovery is not expected for the second half of 2013, given that the level of deliveries has decreased during the first six months of this year compared to the same period in 2012. At first sight, especially after the start of the so-called favorable season for window sales, it appears that the lack of domestic demand represents - just like during the time of the maximum intensity of the economic crisis - one of the main reasons for the fluctuation of joinery orders. For the current year, in the most optimistic view, the analysts expect that the earnings will maintain at the level of the cumulative value of the previous 12 months, when the 631 major assemblies manufacturers (included in the list of 750 companies active on the profile market) registered a decline of 7% in terms of revenue (expressed in EUR) compared to 2011. Although the cumulative turnover of the companies mentioned does not show the exact value of the entire market, it should be noted that, for 2012, the 631 manufacturers reported officially a total revenue of 980 million EUR, unlike 2011 when they recorded 1.05 billion EUR. However, a beneficial aspect is given by the fact that many specialized companies have adapted to the current circumstances of the specific domain and most managers suceeded in reviving their business.
