On May 24’th, 2016, starting at 8.00, the International Conference on Joinery and Curtain Wall Systems EURO-FEREASTRA - a traditional event for the specific market - opens for the eighth time its gates, to accommodate more than 300 professionals who enrolled at the event. Thus, the audience - composed of representatives of companies specialized in execution of windows and façades, construction contractors, installation specialists, architects, planners, local and central authorities, members of professional organizations, etc. - meets at the conference in the Hall Atlas of Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest to participate initially at a plenary session, after which the auditorium will debate topics of strict actuality in the windows industry. The plenary session will be supported interactively, being presented topics such as national construction market outlook, the latest trends in the field, architectural analysis of the domestic and Eastern European construction markets, sustainable building materials as solutions for increasing the energy efficiency of buildings, ways to improve the thermal performance of buildings and other presentations of real interest. After a coffee break, as always, the conference will take place into a module of the hall Atlas, and on this occasion will be discussed the latest issues that may influence the national market of windows and façades. Focus of interest will be constituted, on the one hand, by the analysis of carpentry sector in Central Europe and Eastern Europe (CEE), based on the most recent study by Interconnection Consulting Group, and, on the other hand, by the latest trends highlighted by the renowned German institute IFT Rosenheim, being again a valuable technical partner of the conference. Innovations in technologies for windows, curtain walls, glass and hardware, opportunities for the national market, the impact of changes proposed for the code on fire safety of buildings (P118) on the activity of producers and system suppliers – all of these constitute topics of the special session of the EURO-FEREASTRA works.
