The recession is reinstalling in this period. In these negative circumstances, the international construction branch has to choose the best means available, in order to overcome the future obstacles, which are already visible. The direct and immediate consequence of the economical imbalance on the field of constructions is generated, in the first place, by the diminishing of consumption and by the reluctance of the customers, irrespective public or private, to expend money for acquisitions. The undesirable experience was tested four years ago, when the companies were strongly affected by the stock exchange crisis, and everyone remembers the negative effects in turnover terms. However, there is at least one domain which was not affected by recession, and this is a positive element that could be taken into consideration. We are talking about international trade fairs and specialized conferences, where the influx of demand/participants was permanently growing. The last four years were marked, in this field, by a continuous expansion of the impact that this kind of activities has on the construction segment. It was noticed that more and more companies, especially the ones from emergent markets, began to pay an increased attention to the international trade fairs and conferences organized mainly in Western Europe. This trend can be explained by the fact that such events are an optimal support to solve the current issues by offering access to new products and technologies. All of these elements help them to improve their marketing strategies. Nowadays, it is a common situation that the number of participants at trade fairs and conferences is continuously increasing, in the same time being noticed a phenomenon of aggregation of the organizing companies. It is wrong to believe that local events are disappearing. This is not true, the trend being of globalization, in that taking off the regional operations by international corporations, which have the capacity to optimize and to revitalize the activity, and in the same time to efficiently use the existent infrastructure. In the next pages, there are presented the biggest trade fairs which will be organized in the future.
