The current edition of the international exhibition Fensterbau/Frontale 2014, which will take place on 26 - 29 of March in the center Messe Nürnberg – Germany, has a larger scale than ever. Given the success recorded two years ago, when the number of visitors who attended the event was about 100,000, and the exhibitors exceeded 1,200 companies (including participants at the special event for the wood windows industry Holz Handwerk), the fair management team decided to extend the space, in order to ensure an adequate place for innovations in the fenestration industries. The focus of the event will be put on profile systems, prefabricated units, architectural glass, fixing and safety equipment, machinery, equipment or software and so on, all of which constitute the latest technologies in the field. According to the official information provided by the organizers, the 2014 edition has already registered 773 companies around the globe, making it possible to overcome the level of participation recorded two years ago. More than half of the exhibition, totaling over 170,000 square meters, is dedicated for hosting Fensterbau/Frontale, which has allocated 11 of the 17 pavilions that are part of the Nürnberg Messe complex. Compared to 2012, the space provided by the local authorities was supplemented by more than 8,000 square meters through the construction of a new hall. The profiles for windows/doors/façades will be exhibited in seven pavilions; the hardware systems have allocated three complete halls and the specialized equipments two pavilions. From the offer point of view, the trade fair will include the following sections: PVC profiles , aluminum and composite panels (517 companies), semi-finished materials (269 companies), glass and glass products (139 companies), hardware, fasteners and security systems (660 companies), ventilation and shading devices (317 companies), machinery , equipment and tooling (494 companies) etc. An important related event which will take place during the exhibition is the special symposium presented by IFT Rosenheim experts in Hall 1. Developed under the motto "Vibrant research for a vibrant life" the event aims to highlight the latest innovations in the field.
